Chad My Favorite Damn Disease

I have been a Chad Junkie since I first heard him sing "Leader of Men".
I was drawn to the gravely raw voice of his. Needless to say when I saw a picture of him for the first time -- the love affair was ON!

But never in my wildest dreams did I believe that he would be better in person, but he is! I was one of the lucky ones who were able to catch Nickelback on their short tour in early 2007. I traveled from Jacksonville to Orlando to see the the guys. I was a little worried since they had rescheduled the Atlanta show a few days prior to the Orlando show, but we were not disappointed, they did their Orlando show and it was the best ever! The guys totally rocked the venue that night!! They played some old stuff as well as some new stuff. They did the famous "Beer 'O Clock" with Tiger Woods and Roger Clemmens as a couple of the air cannon shooters. The crowd was so pumped! And Daniel's drum solo.........OMG.....all I can say is God of Thunder!! Just when you thought he couldn't play anymore, he did, wow he has an awesome talent! How can a person physically do what he does?!?! I sang each and every song as loud as I could.........and it took a few days for the voice to come back.The tribute to Dimebag was bitter-sweet. It was nicely done, and the song "Side of a bullet" totally rocks!!! The pyros were awesome!! We were right on the rail and the heat was pretty intense. HUGE shout out for the Official NB website for offering fans presale tickets, but what about our M&G?? Chad was pretty chatty to during the show. He told a really dirty joke, which of course us ladies loved! Not to mention how we all just melt when he sings "I like your pants around your feet!!" I even got one of Chad's picks!!!

I'll keep driving to their shows as long as they come close to me, they are awesome and well worth the drive and wait!!! Thank you guys you totally rock my world!!!.......Keep up the good work!!
I have not had the lucky chance to meet him, but someday.......somehow.
